With China’s world trading continue to grow, our customers cross border needs increases accordingly. The technology platform has to evolve the same way. This is not only applicable to our Corporate customers, but also our retail customers. Since Standard Chartered design and build our systems with a global perspective in mind, we can introduce international capability easily. For example, our retail Internet Banking has a feature called “Global Link”. If our customer has an banking account in China, and in other countries, like Singapore, Malaysia, all the accounts can be linked together. When our customers log into our Internet Banking services, they can value their Wealth in all different countries on the same page.
